Kathy Glenn is an artist, knitted bag designer, creativity coach, and aspiring novelist.She teaches painting classes at the Des Moines Art Center and heads workshops for educators who wish to enhance their own creativity as well as their students.
Kathy is currently working on a series of "almost daily" paintings that capture small, often overlooked items found in her backyard and gardens . Kathy is one of the founding members of the Art and Soul creative group. |  Leavings

During a recent downsizing frenzy, Kathy discovered boxes of fabric and yarn and other boxes of sweaters she had knitted when her children
were small. She was looking for a home for them when she was gifted a Kindle. Right away, she found a need for a graceful way to carry the ebook to her book group. As she tells her students - try smoosching two needs together and find a solution - which she did. She is now excited about developing all kinds of bags using found materials as well as unique embellishments.
