Immediately we could see one of the great advantages of watercolor. When the pigment is placed in the palette, it can be left for days and still reconstituted with water. This makes for much less waste. Acrylic will be a one time thing. It dries quickly and can't be removed after it has dried. So, any paint that is left over must be discarded.
Next week we will be looking at a Stephen Quiller demo clip as he uses acrylic in a manner like watercolor.
